It fits around her chest like actual fabric instead of paint that somehow doubles as a push-up bra! Now that the suit looks like it's made of different pieces, it actually seems like something a person could conceivably wear. Not that the character hasn't been "sexy" in some way since her conception, but there's a way to do it that feels human instead of an uncomfortably fetishy object.
Thanks! The initial design in Zero Mission was just too ugly for me, it really looks like a body paint suit. Not to mention its a silly excuse for Nintendo to milk fan service on Samus and as a result, we get the many MANY H material fan art out of it, which in my opinion destroy her strong , badass bounty hunter persona....I'm ranting too much ;A;
Love this rendition of the zero suit. It looks like sleek, practical, futuristic armour, and it's believable as back up/low-profile protection or as some kind of full body control interface for her primary armour. I much prefer this to the typical hyper-sexualization, which is almost yawn worthy in its unoriginality at this point. Hell, it's not like this design isn't attractive looking either! Just goes to show how lazy it is when outfits are designed for sex appeal at the cost of staying true to the character.
